I know already that I am unable to attend. How should I let you know?
If you already know you won’t be able to make it to Maui, we completely understand that we are asking a lot of our guests. We’ll miss you dearly, but no hard feelings! We’d be so grateful if you could let us know as soon as possible, either by text or email to paige.ruonala@gmail.com.
For family local to Los Angeles unable to attend— We will be hosting a dinner closer to the wedding date. More details to come.
I am in! When should I book my travel accomodations?
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Feel free to book whenever you’re comfortable. We will be staying at the Hotel Wailea. We encourage you to stay at in the Kihei or Wailea area for proximity to the venue.
What is the dress code?
Semi-Formal. Colorful encouraged. Aloha shirts under a suit jacket is also encouraged 🌺🌴
Can I bring my kids?
Unless specifically communicated, we ask that only those formally invited attend.
Can I bring a plus one?
We ask that only those that have been formally invited attend.
What type of food will be served?
During cocktail hour we will have passed appetizers. For dinner, we will have a selection of Asian style braised short ribs or fresh catch fish. Expect local flavors of Hawaii. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies so we can be prepared for you.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? What will the weather be like?
The wedding will be outdoors, but there is an indoor area for you to enjoy as well. Ceremony, Cocktail hour, and dinner will be outside. Dancing will be moved inside at 8:30pm. Weather should be sunny and warm 75−85∘ during the day and 65−70∘ at night. Expect some wind!
Is there parking on-site?
Parking is available for 30 vehicles at the venue. We encourage you to carpool with friends and family. There are also plenty of Ubers in Maui for those who prefer not to drive.
